The 10th Pinot Noir Shootout again defines Pinot Noir styles by exploring and assessing the many wines that were tasted by our judging panel. We denote the descriptors and scores of the panelists and describe the wines as experienced by the female and male panelists in an attempt to discover whether women and men prefer different wine styles.

Affairs of the Vine conducted the Pinot Noir Shootout preliminary tastings in October and November. The final judging was conducted on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in San Francisco, California.

Wine Lovers will vote for their favorites at the Pinot Noir Showdown, the blind tasting of 40 of the top rated wines, at the 10th Pinot Noir Summit. Make sure your palate is represented.
